To clarify, basically the same thing but larger diameter? (they are 1.24" diameter now)
Haven't considered it until now.
I was thinking to make an aluminum one-piece fake can that resembles the Surefire suppressor in size and weight and would thread directly on. Would that do it for you?

1.5 is basically the standard overall diameter of supressors nowadays.

Great idea! But I’d personally pass on that since I’m rocking muzzle devices already I thought this would be a cool way to make it feel like I’m mounting a real suppressor to them without actually breaking the law lol.

Concur! If I can be demanding, I'd like it in non-reverse, 1.5", while retaining the linear compensator.
The reverse ones look great on 16" guns, but I'm looking for a linear comp for an 11.3"!

here's a first stab at it.
at 1.5" diameter anybody planning to recess this inside a handguard will need a big hallway to throw this hotdog down. Low-profile/lightweight handguards like Maple Ridge Armoury V1 would be a no-go but it would fit in AR-15 huge quadrails or 308 handguards like the MRA X1.
do we have any more votes for
- reverse style or extension style? (extension-style makes fit inside handguards a non-issue)
- linear comp or plain? If it's linear comp then I'd lean towards making it steel to prevent erosion and then you're looking at a 1 pound muzzle device instead of half pound
