My son used one of these extensions this weekend at our 3 gun match. It worked really well for him.

Gotta love them bright colours from the 3D printer of GS Designs...

So here I am after running my LAR magazines with the GS Design extenders at an ORA CQB match this weekend...



I had nothing but great things to report. Not a single hangup on the mag changes in and out of my pouches. They worked predictably well since I was grabbing them aggressively and / or letting them drop on the ground as I did my "Advance" towards the targets.

I quite liked that extra texture of that 3D printer since it actually gave me a bit of a grip with my DaKine DH or XC biking gloves as you can see in the picture.

Here I am yakking this magazine adapter design with my QC or Quebec brethren at the ORA match and showing them the mag extensions:




I've been super happy with these extensions are now they are part of my CQB kit and vest. At the risk of sounding like a "fanboy", I say, don't buy ONE... buy TWO of them!

Actually, buy a poopload of them for your 10 rounders!

They're about $13 each. Pricing is on my EE page.

It has occurred to me more than once that this was an obvious problem that could be easily solved by the right supplier. Glad to see a promising contender. How heavy are the extensions?
