Now I know for sure you guys are RFB fanboys

The RFB would be a joke with a 24" barrel and it would be a serious comedy with a 32"
LOL!
Not really. The whole advantage of a bullpup is balance and length. A 32" barreled RFB would probably be the same length as my AR10 rifles with 24" barrels.
Not a sniper rifle but could make one fine designated marksman rifle, longer range hunting, target shooting and pest control.
As for all the engineering etc. A DPMS with 24" match barrel shoots along side those other rifles. You're not paying strictly for accuracy with those big names. Your paying for name and military grade components (which includes the extra costs of testing and materials). The RFB isn't a military rifle. This doesn't mean it can't be made to be very accurate.
In terms of accuracy the DI semi autos are easier to turn into tack drivers. However the 32" target model prototype was shooting 3/4 moa with match ammo. I agree due to harmonics and barrel stiffness that the 24" has more potential for accuracy. That being said when it comes to lobbing 175 grain rounds downrange or heavier the extra velocity may give it better accuracy due to the heavier ammo with better BC at longer ranges. So for long range it may in fact be more accurate mostly due to the ammo/ballistics.
Also the RFB barrel isn't really unsupported. It's the spine of the rifle. Plus there are a number of long distance accuracy rigs sporting 30" tubes and shooting well.
There's nothing fanboy about wanting a 24" match heavy barrel in this platform. Fireball and I both have Canadian DND Armalite AR10 rifles with 24" medium heavy military match grade barrels. These were in use by the Canadian spotters for the snipers. The accuracy is phenomenal for a semi auto.
If we can get close to this in the much shorter and handier RFB then we'll be laughing all the way to non restricted target shooting, long range hunting, and pest control.
