Riddle me this

.30-06 is all one needs to know. If you want "fit", buy a pair of pants.

You would never get far in trap, and skeet. :D

Unfortunately the Hunting/Shooting community is small enough that advice is often sought on the internet!:(

From the BS I have heard over the years from hunters in person...the internet is a vast improvement.

Sometimes hard to tell on here who is making jokes and who is just ignorant.

Good thread though, it always makes me shake my head when someone says "I want to get a new deer gun" and all they get are "30/06, 308, 7mm,....." CARTRIDGE answers.

Most often I choose a GUN (action and "fit") and then deside what cartridge I may want it in.

Just got a Win. M100 semi-auto in .284 win. It may become my new all around big game gun.

Except yours has a hinged floorplate - not a blind magazine.

no it's got a blind mag (thats the one where you have to bolt the shells to get them out right?)

and the .375 is just cool

 Lets get back on topic here guys.
Now lets hear more info about that hat.
Your hat is a personal choice, you have to be discrimaneting, show maturity and good judgement! Like this!

Now thats more like it. Look out T Rex. Yippee Kiyaaa. Wonder how my 30-06 would do if I got real close..... I am finding out the hard way that buying on line is not a great way to get a gun that fits. You save money up front but spend it in the long run making it fit now that you have it. But then again I might have tried everything in the store and still have to make something fit so mebbe I still am doing ok by getting my rifles adjusted to fit me by a pro. One of the joys of getting back in late and wearing the Noob hat again. Oh yeah-hats...
