Rifle Painting

Question : it's recommended to blast before painting. I have an AICS in o.d. that is just beautiful. I'm planning on taking some leaves and spray paint just a little bit of flat black to add texture to the green finish.

The green of the AICS will be the main colour. Will sandblasting affect it? Is sandblasting a must on a plastic stock?

i "think" you can get away with a good degreaseing and using a primer specificly for plastics such as krylon fusion primer

in that case just degrease it thouroghly and use the arma-coat clear and you will be set.
while i havent used it my self i have read that it is a superior product and will with stand some harsh stuff
