No. Provinces pay different amounts of sales tax and origin determines duty.So if I order it and I'm in Alberta I pay 25percent to Ottawa but if someone in another province orders it the no 25 percent?
I ordered a reproduction of an antique sight for an old gun. I looked online before I ordered the stupid thing and Canadian government said no more import tarpon gun parts. The filthy crooks are full of it
I have had both components and a rifle imported in the last two months. I can assure you there has been no tariffs. GST yes. Duty on parts made outside of the US, yes. One part had origins in Europe and the duty, handling fees and taxes were over 25% combined. But it was not a tariff.
You weren’t charged a tariff and that big white and yellow duplicate CBSA form pasted to the side of your parcel proves that.
