Just compared it to my unissued SKS's...LOL. Original wood with all cartouches intact, rear sight base is not pinned, the bore will blind you if you shine the bore light through, numbers and prefixes are original, large diameter cocking piece end, all stamped with Izhevsk logo etc. It has that aura...like it has never been used.

That SVT has an AVT stock on it. These were commonly put on SVTs during refurbishment, then penciled to match. Draw from this what you may, but I'm going to have to say I'm a bit doubtful that it's an all-original SVT, especially the magazine and stock. Seldom, if ever, do the magazines match the rifle for an SVT. The silver bolt is interesting, though, usually they were plumed during refurbishment.

The stock is original to the rifle. The prefix and numbers are matching to the rifle. AVT stocks were put on the standard rifles after cancellation of AVT experiment in 1942. All numbers are stamped matching and nothing is re-numbered. Yes, magazine does not match.
