Just thought to share a few pics of my newest acquisition. It's definitely a keeper! A Belgium Browning Trombone, date of manufacture is 1934 and it's all original. I feel pretty lucky to find this one.

Beautiful. You're a lucky guy.

I'm going to get the naming wrong, but is that a "punching pistol" - the kind they used to make back in the 20's (ish) that were designed to be held in the palm of your hand go go off when you punched a guy?

Manufactured 1890's

Just finished restoring a 1901 Quackenbush Bicycle Rifle. Only 4,321 were made between 1896 and 1919. The rifle was marketed to boys, and sold for $5.00 at the time. For an additional .40 cents you could get a canvas holster that attached to a bicycle frame to carry the rifle in.

When I received this rifle, the original stock and handle had been re-made, and it did not look very good, or close to the original. Using a copy of the original patent and various measurement information obtained from "Quackenbush Guns" by John Groenewold, we were able to get pretty close to the original look.

The rifle is a pleasure to shoot, and the breech loading system is pretty unique and adds to whole experience of the rifle.. Sadly the rifle is restricted so I can't take it out for some fun in the back woods.

Damn, that's a sweet rig...

And would be dead easy to replicate from, at least functionality/basic form factor, from just about any single shot...

Dangit, I just bought a Little Badger... Now I suddenly want to get a cricket to modify.

Stevens 87D
First gun my dad, his siblings, myself, 3 sisters and several cousins learned to shoot on. Refinished the stock a 10 or 15 years ago, planning to do it again

Remington 550-1
Gift from Grandad, shot cats out of his garden. He liked his garden a lot more than cats. Also refinished it, but last summer

Fun fact: It holds 21+1 of :3 little shorts..

Ruger 10/22
Beauty of a shooter, 2nd owner

Ruger Single 10
First revolver, first 22 pistol, and first SAA clone. Haven't had it out yet.

The three rifles pictured, and a CZ Lux that I don't have pics of yet shoot incredibly well on the same ammo.

edit: clicky-pops for ginormous

Nothing as cool as some of your guys guns but still a fun one.

Savage 93r17 stainless heavy barrel. Plan on shooting it a lot more this year.

Here I'm set up taking care of a magpie problem

Here are a couple pics of my buds 597 that I did a camo job on.

Heres a few more of my 597 after I added a few goodies. Not sold on the fore grip yet.

For comparison purposes, before the goodies.

I can't see if you've got a rail under there to mount that fore-grip but if you do try a Magpul AFG1 or 2, way better than the vertical ones for aimed fire guns IMO.

Yes there is a small 5 slot rail under the grip. I may have to check out the Magpul. Thanks!
I think an AFG would fit on there but I'm not positive. My AFG2 is 5" long but the retaining bolt is in the middle so as long as the rail high enough for the AFG to clear front and rear it should sit OK. Hopefully someone who has tried one on this gun will chime in and let you know for sure.

Rem 597, going to call it done. There was a learning curve to painting this, but not enough to stop me from trying it again on another project. I think next time I will freehand airbrush instead of taping & rattle canning it.
