Now that I like..

Went to a Sporting Clays shoot and sponsor " Lequile Country Store " had this on the rack. Had to come home with me. Gorgeous stock and nicely engraved "1964 - 2014 " on the receiver and " 50 " on the bolt.

Going to show yu'all my favorite rimfire shooter........don't laff.
Got Del to groove the receiver so the scope don't sit over yonder off the barrel.
And the cheeky chit told me not to be cheep and put a good scope on'ner.
I pondered this comment the other day and then decided to take the Leupold VXI 2x7-33
off the Brno I never shoot.
I sure don't regret this decision.
Went gopher shooting and this thing is deadly.
Not many of the furs were out in the rain, but there was a wee bit of break and a few poked there
tete's out.
I think I missed a couple, cuzz I was shooting free hand.
This gal is my favorite out of all the rims here, including the T-Bone and two CZ's.
Got the trigger set to a pound and an arf, light and she shoots what ever she's fed, S, L & LR
and not fussy either.
Gonna git buried with this one.
Need to find a rear sight plug/slug to pretty up that open slot.

Thanks Del, you did a fabulous job on my gal..............

Very "PRETTY" rifle...Rimfires are such fun to shoot, cheap, quiet, no recoil, they just get used lots. Good Glass makes a difference to for us OLDER Guys...Nice rig Looky...

Two of my recent additions.
ISSC 22 with a Tasco red dot & 3/4 inch riser co-witness with stock flip-up sights

Mostly finished my 10/22, minus optics. Still trying to decide if I want to change the barrel and if I do, what to use.

Currently has a Power Customs Titanium Skeleton Bolt Handle, Tactical Solutions Extended Mag Release, Quick Action Release Mod and a Boyd's SS Evolution Stock.

True story...

Got this Savage Mk2 in a trade.

Have several .22s so I threw on an old beater Tasco scope I had laying around and thought I would sell it to raise funds for another project.

But...before I listed it I thought I should take it to the range once to see how the old girl shoots.

GOOD GRIEF!!! This thing shoots better than rifles I have that cost 3X as much!!

That is 10 rounds from 50 yards.

I guess she is a keeper now!

So fairly typical Savage accuracy is what you're saying:)

Savage MKII FV-SR setup. Machined and anodized the compensator myself and it measures as just under five inches with a 1/4" bore for extra room. Currently making a second one that has proper porting so it acts as a proper compensator rather than just a false barrel extender.
