Yea, painted the trigger guard which was also painted from factory. Some kind of pot metal, kind of like the old savage 64 magazine.
Along with the magazine well bottom which was blued from factory.

Stock was stripped, stained and finished with urethane.

Rifle was reblued, the barrel took the bluing great, but the receiver is a little light and might get more applications.

My Mona Lisa AR15.22 build is finally ready to be revealed! Will be my IPSC Mini-Rifle Open gun. NEA lower, generic LPK, Hogue beavertail, Geissele s3g, Ace Skeleton stock, CMMG 22LR upper, Miculek comp (really just for the looks), Leupold Deltapoint and Troy Alpha in 15".

She will be shot at 100yds or less, so I didn't feel the need for magnified optics, just a quick 3.5MOA dot. Need a crush washer to properly mount the comp since the CMMG 22lr upper doesn't have enough meat to accommodate the thick locknut that comes with the Miculek comp, now I just gotta do function-testing with the trigger.

Added a Sightron 4-12 x 40 scope with the HHR reticle. The Burris Rings are High QD's 420037 and the Height above bore is roughly 1.75 but that is what I had available.

What does the group measure & what is the distance to the target?

100 Meters, under 1 inch. The squares are roughly 1 inch. So that is maybe .5 ish ?

That was best group out of 4 hours of shooting and 200 rounds... Had fairly consistent groups under and inch but always with a flyer on 4th or 5th.

Im very impressed with this rifle. Even with the "bull" barrel, have to give it a couple min to cool down or it opens up but over all performance is stellar.
