Very Nice

Thanks! But as much as I like this stock I don't. There are some things I'd change on it. Too bad Manners only offers this one version :(

Do you climb?

Would be interested in hearing what you don't like about the stock as I am looking at their MCS-EHF1 in carbon fiber for one of my builds! I use to do a lot of climbing, both ice (mixed) and rock (trad) but am getting fat and lazy now!

There's really only two things I don't like, and it's not the company or quality or anything - it's the specific T4 style. I don't like how the forend is approx. 2.5" wide and the palm swell is so bloody fat. I have large hands and it's still too wide. Other than that it's pretty decent. Debating ordering another Manners carbon stock in a different style for a 6.5 CM. Then again I really like the PSE stocks and am having one sent here from Ireland. Just waiting for their order confirmation :)
PSE are also 100% carbon fiber. In my last email I asked if he'll inlet for Anschutz match 54 actions. I'm not expecting a "yes" anytime soon.

I was talking to a guy in Australia who has a couple PSE (and Manners carbon fiber) and he says the PSE are def nicer quality.

Thanks for the insight to that! I am getting very interested in a Manners flat top folder so I can fit it to my 1727F. Just have to find a Canadian Dealer who can supply one without an inlet.

Shultz & Larson M77 (1977?). Purchased off a fellow G'Nutter (July/16) who did a fantastic job restoring the wood and metal, etc. I finally shot it today indoor @ 25yrds. Conditions ie. Llghting, bench and chair were poor (those of you who shoot at Target Sports understand).
Never used diopter sights so was wondering how to line up a "circle in a circle". Shot off a Cadwell front sandbag with a clean barrel that was oiled for storage.
Shot CCI SV's 5 rounds at a time.
First target pic shows 4 groups (5rnds each) as I climbed the ladder dialling in the rear sight.
Second pic shows rounds 21-25. I was thrilled with the results! I ended up shooting 10rnds each of Win555's, American Eagle 38gr copper wash, Win Target, and Wildcats. I was very surprised the rifle grouped these well also but I'm saving the CCI SV's for this S&L.
I think I'm hooked shooting diopter sights and looking forward to seeing how I do at 50 and 100yrds. Sorry for the long winded post......

My Punta era 1971 S&W 41 in awesome condition with new grips and a newer production 5" bull barrel being guarded by my Anschutz. Both guns are tack drivers.

JGA (Anschutz) Garden Gun. Refurbished for a friend, it was missing the original loading/extracting track, and a kind CGN'er sold me a donor rifle and I swapped the parts and refinished the stock.
