Finally received the Mossberg Model L I wrote about some time ago. Just after the auction I was in the horsepistol several days after suffering Congestive Heart Failure.
Many days later, on the way home, we stopped by my local FFL dealer and picked up the little gem shown below. I was astonished at its GREAT condition. Turns out they were auctioning off some elderly, long-time Mossy collector's herd. He had some fantastic old guns!!!
This beautiful old timer is the scarce takedown model.
As promised, here are more pics now that it is in hand.
Best regards ~ ~ ~ mauser
Check out how clean and sharp all the finish and metal edges have remained...

Here is my Ruger 10/20 Target with Legacy Stock, Heavy Barrel?, Tactical inc. magasine and Bushnell Elite 3200. Purchased from Frontier last summer. Love this rifle, It goes with me to the range every time.
My 2 marlin 795's. Terrific little rifles. SS has bushnell rimfire mounted and other cheap tasco red dot. The stainless version has 15,000 rnds and counting with no mechanical malfunctions
What an awesome thread, soo many models I've never even seen before.
The springfield is probably one of the most unique on here IMO, Looks almost like a garand or something.
Winchester Low Wall '85 .22rf single-shot. Stamped with U.S. and flaming ordnance bomb on tang. Marked for SHORTS only. Serial number indicates it was part of a government contract in 1918 for the final batch of training rifles. The contract was inked just before the signing of the Armistice which ended Worl War I. All original.
Harrington & Richardson "Sahara" rifle. Another full-wood .22rf single-shot. I love the old full-wood single-shot .22s.
