Kate went the mile for all her customers . Going to miss her. TSE definitely won't!
Sad to see the small business get sucked up by the big one again.

That's suck, I like to deal with small business, they really like their job and business. Some big store don't bother to talk to you nicely, always though that you are just wasting their time.

When lebaron closed I did not even bother. But now Kate is gone with good price and decent customer service.

I was looking into buying it from her but I found out about it way too late. I wish her the best of luck in the future.

Removal of competition?

Could be, but I think Kate's sale's were all over Canada, TSE have a lot to take out. I see the benefits of merging with a business that you want to enter their sector of the market, the sum of the two is greater than the individual components, but with TSE I don't see that?

Candocad.

I never used either but by the way this has rolled out I would ask what shape financially was Ammosupply in and who backed them.
Limited supply is an indicator that a company is experiencing cash flow problems.
The nature of what has been stated (and more importantly, not stated) and the actions taken would tell me Ammosupplies backers lost faith in the business model and pulled out to limit loss; TSE will absorb whatever inventories to offset any account imbalance.
Everyone always asks "are you keeping busy?".
The important question to ask is "are you making money"...
The answer seems to be no.

Hey everyone, thanks for all the good wishes! We really enjoyed supplying Canada with ammo, and have had some great times talking with our customers and dealing in the industry.

I hope if you're in Calgary you'll pop into The Shooting Edge and see their stunningly refreshed retail space and classrooms. I did my PAL course at TSE way back when and had a great experience. I am definitely planning on doing some of their new courses in 2017.

JR has done a lot of of positive things for the local community around Calgary, and beyond. I consider him a friend. Everyone, businesses and people alike, make mistakes. I know I have made a few, and I have learned from them.
