Robarms XCR FAQ post

I bought mine in 6.8 and leave the deflector in place no matter whether I'm shooting 6.8 or 5.56. The spend casings fly out anywhere between 1 and 3 o'clock with both types of round. I think the rifle just likes throwing them in the pattern in general.

Gotcha; I may actually trying shooting without a deflector to see if they land somewhere behind me. Worst case they hit my shoulder and I put it back on.

I thought that was a feature, on the XCR. Bouncing brass off your buddy's forehead.

Sorry Nathan ;)

Ah, you see, the trick is to pay your Sorry's in advance; this will grant you diplomatic immunity.

Now I have another question (I'm just full of them lately); I've asked Wolverine Supplies this question but haven't got an answer back yet: would it be possible to order an "empty" keymod upper? None of the guts, except maybe the charging handle mechanism. I got to handle a keymod variant at my LGS today and now I really feel the difference. It's a difference I could live with, really, but if an empty upper isn't too expensive, I may just try and swap it with my quad rail.

Edit: I actually see the RA website set up a Parts page, with their part pricing and listing at the bottom of it; looks like they go for about $440 US. They even offer the longer competition one for $550.

I've been trying for a couple of months to get a Dlaskarms Stock adapter to replace my fast stock , currently it's got almost an 1/8 " of travel in any direction when locked open , the only way for me to fire it accurately is to pull my sling into a single point from the fore end to my bicep .
Are there any alternative solutions to Dlaskarms ? I've called them and currently there's no date for a new production run .

Yeah, don't go by the website. A phone call usually turns something up there. Good Luck

image.jpgHey guys, I torqued my barrel retaining screw ,down to 250 inch pounds, and it still has a small gap between the bolt and the bottom of the upper??? This good to go?

Not sure if it matters,but I just switched barrels,from 7.69 to .223

My retainer bolt looks about the same on my .223 barrel; I also have a 2013 quad upper. Mind you I don't own a torque so I just did it by hand at 1/8th of a turn past tlghtness threshold.

Exact same on my 7.62x39mm Keymod version, the bolt sticks out a little and I just tighten it the same as Chiilingsworth described.

I don't think anyone has the AR adapters in stock. I don't need one yet, but I hope it won't be too much trouble if/when I go looking for one. We should all start asking Dlask, so they know that these are in demand. They might get a team churning them out assembly line style and we'll see them on sale for $10 with free shipping lol

On a good note, I got 3 groups under an inch:)
