Robarms XCR FAQ post

The balance of the rifle is greatly improved with the new keymod versions. That said, I wish it wernt keymod they went with... RA isn't a fan of Magpul to have gone M-LOK. Rails are cheese graders and add weight.

Yo men. Had my first major failure with the gun this weekend. It was almost like a double feed. There was a round in the chamber and another round stuck in magazine well which prevented the mag from dropping until I was able to manually remove the round. When I inspected the round the bullet was "impacted" into the casing. Like it was pushed into it. I removed that round, dropped the mag, cleared the round from the chamber and all was well.

What could have been the source of this failure?

After this failure the gun functioned fine for the rest of the day at the range.

This happens to me with PCV Beowulf mags when loaded to high, the ramp isn't steep enough to feed which forces it straight.

What mags are you using?

ATRS 10 round pistol mags?

Got a few questions about the XCR-M in 308
So the keymod version is the latest version of the rifle right?
Are the 10 round pistol mags in 308 legal to use in the rifle with nrpal?
Im a bit on the fence about this rifle due to the heavy price tag
Hows the overall quality of the gun, is it worth the price?
Im looking for one gun to do it all, from paper to light hunting, does this gun fit the bill?
Are you happy with the gun and the price you paid?

XCR-L is 223, 7.62x39 andXCR-M is .308

I have the keymod in .223 thin barrel and 6.8 SPC in heavy barrel. I like the balance. Good quality and it shoots about 1.5" @ 100m on a good day but a consistent 2"-2 1/2" with premium hunting ammo. Can't advise on the XCR-M in .308

Yes

Yes

Yes, quality is excellent as is the warranty. The price is always hard to take. Handle one before buying if you can.

It can, weight isn't to heavy, but being scoped, you'll be about 10lbs. If you're looking for sub moa, you'll be disappointed, IT IS possible with a good hand load. Expect 1.5/2 with good ammo.

Are you happy with the gun and the price you paid?
Yes, but it was a hard pill to swallow. I had put money aside for an Ruger Precision Rifle. Changed my mind and paid the difference for the XCR-M in 308.

I have XCR-L Keymod in 556, and a dedicated 7.62x39 upper in addition to my XCR-M. I consolidated many firearms to standardize on the family of XCR's ... For me, they do serve the purpose of sports shooting, training, paper punching, plinking and hunting (to be done this year in x39 and x51).

Hello mens. Thinking about grabbing a sling for my baby. Does anyone have any recommendations as to which sling to buy and how to mount it? I got the FAST stock installed still and a primary arms bipod adapter upfront sitting on the keymod rail. Not sure if that also doubles as a sling swivel mount.

Looks like bipod only adapter, and sling mounts generally have a loop of some form on them.

I run a BFG QD sling mount on the base of my fast stock with a Voodoo double bungee sling.

Just above all the pistols.

May get a keymod mounted sling mount so I can run a 3 point sling again but we will see.

I usually use a QD Magpul MS4. Just use the stock QD "socket" underneath the stock and buy/add a picatinny rail QD "socket" up front top rail near front sight base. with that sling you can two point or single point sling the XCRL

I'm using Fortis Keymod QD Sling Mounts with UTG large swivels, and Samson Keymod rails segments for bipod mounting. I use a Condor Stryke sling and I like it. I'm using this setup for all three, but sling setup isn't the best for the XCR-M, due to weight of the rifle scoped with bipod.

holy #### what a ###y picture. I like the 1 point sling so u can hang the firearm right off your neck onto your chest. What does a 3 point sling mount allow for?

Thanks partner, the 3 point sling allows for carry like this.

Makes it easier I find to sling my primary weapon onto my back when I want both hands free, aka "climbers position or rear sweep"
