Thanks partner, the 3 point sling allows for carry like this.

Makes it easier I find to sling my primary weapon onto my back when I want both hands free, aka "climbers position or rear sweep"

this looks good as well. What do I need to have a 3 point sling going?

All you need are two points to connect your sling at, setting it up right handed is no issue but for a lefty it may interfere with folding the stock rapidly.

with the single point bungee sling how low does the rifle hang off your neck? What is ideal?

Low enough to have the firearm shoulder easily, properly and comfortably. I like just enough slack to quickly shoulder the firearm and have it snug, yet loose enough to switch from left shoulder to right shoulder without issues whether single point or 2 point slung/configured.

Unless you're 8' tall, the XCR and single point bungee aren't friendly.
Technology has come to far to have a 10lb rifle bouncing up and down from your shoulder.

A quick adjust 2 point, like the BFG Vickers, offers the best of all worlds.

Has anyone ever changed out ever changed out the brake on a 6.8spc? I've got a stainless light bbl 6.8 with the factory brake, same as the 7.62x39 brake and I think it's awful heavy. Was thinking about putting a DD A2 brake on for a 7.62 to bring the weight down. Any thoughts?

I have never tried to remove mine. Maybe call and talk to Chris at RA. Nice guy and full of info.

Got a sling and a sling mount for the keymod rail so I can run a proper two point sling. However I am now worried this sling mount will actually not have enough clearance within the rail due to the super low profile. What do you guys think?

You can get a picatinny mounted QD socket. Put it on top rail behind front sight.

Sometimes a keymod mount inside nut will interfere with barrel removal.

not too worried with it interfering with barrel removal- i can just remove my attachments if need be. I am more so worried that the qd swivel will actually make contact with the barrel when installed. What do you think based on the youtube vid I posted?

Single point sling setups just don't work due to our 18.6 barrels and weight of outfitted rifles. There are not low pro M4's by any means lol, all bungee style one point's I've tried are extremely annoying in use for me. Two point quick adjustments work well and I personally don't want anything hanging off my neck.

how do you feel about this adapter xdmer?

It looks durable for sure. I like the anti rotational Fortis Keymod QD Sling Mounts, for style as well. Pic below.
