Robarms XCR FAQ post

Does anybody use a lightweight barrel other than a rob arms light barrel? I.E. more cost effective than the rob arms barrel but still a quality piece. I know you can't have both but maybe there is something out there. Thanks

Has anyone ever successfully removed the factory muzzle brake from the Gen 1 -M models? I think mine is pinned/welded; a few guys on here seem to agree.

Any sage advice before I send it off to a smith or get overly destructive with it?:)
 
I picked up a keymod version last year, I finally took the barrel off this wekk to clean the reciver well, I notice the gas cyl looks like it can be reversed to push the gas upwards. Has anyone done this. it would reduce the amount of corrosive gasses hitting the top of the barrel.

Rotating the tube from 6 to 12 will supposedly affect felt recoil. Holes down is supposed to reduce.
I personally didn't feel a difference.

Do it and let us know.

I just installed a RA AR15 adapter and a CTR stock. I do not need a cheek riser as I get a perfect cheek weld.
When I had a dlask adapter and CTR stock (on a previously owned key mod) I needed a cheek riser.

Problem. I have a fast stock and a skeleton stock, both folders, perfer the skeleton due to length of pull is perfect but has excessive play at the pivot point. Can I remove the folding adapter and use a different one? Is there one to get that doesn't fold for the skeleton stock? New to XCR's, but I like them. Please help me Obe-one, your my only hope.

there is an allen bolt to screw or uncrew i believe to remove the play in the adapter when it lock
