Robarms XCR FAQ post

Latest Update. Added a ubr with a 3x magnifier and x300.

That's a gorgeous rifle. Black rifle on nice black leather just does something to ya!

On a side note, I was curious as I heard some rumbling that 7.62x39 XCR micro mags (loaded with 6.8 spc) can be used in the XCR-l with a 6.8 spc conversion, you get an extra round, but I more just care about the ability to use them as I have a bunch lying around.

Can anyone confirm? I've never seen a 6.8 spc round so I dont know if it would even fit in the 7.62x39 mags.

Just took a quick pic of the little XCR. Thought I would show it off a bit. :D

I already got a replacement HOD peg thingy.. same as the last HOD thingy.. so I expect that a few more parts might come in handy.

Why does my shell deflector keep coming loose even when I try loctite and it keeps getting worn out by the bolt when I tighten it? Does anyone sell metal ones or know a way to make it never come loose?

Mine only rotated a little and hasn't moved anymore. I don't try to keep it exactly level though.

What do you mean it keeps getting worn out by the bolt?

The bolt that holds the shell deflector in place keeps eating away the rubber or plastic deflector. I'm on my second deflector and I can start to see that the bolt is gonna start going through the deflector when I take it off and look at it from the back.

It sounds like you are over tightening the bolt that holds the deflector on.

Does anybody know what the small pin that inserts laterally into the bolt carrier does? It slides in and out easily and is not retained by anything. I'm afraid I'll lose it.

Tha the way she is. It says in the manual to push it out with a paper clip

Turns out there is supposed to be a small o-ring on the head end of that pin that retains the pin by friction. Mine is missing so the pin literally just falls out when the carrier is tilted. You have that O-ring?
