Rock Polisher at Crappy tire??

No air born dust at all. The gasket seals it tight. I used some rice this morning. Worked pretty darn good. No dust at all and cleaned pretty good. Not as good as the walnut based stuff but pretty shiny just the same. I loaded her up again with some real dirty 223. going to let her run for 3 hours maybe 4. Wife is going to Ch'town on Wed. Going to see if they have any walnut or corncob bedding down there.

Have a Lortone rock tumbler that my wife got when she was in to jewellery thing. The fact that the tumbler you bought is a rock tumbler and has a sealing gasket on the lid you should be able to wet tumble. Grab a bottle of Birchwood Casey brass cleaner and mix up a batch and tumbler your cases in this, they come out like new.
Your reading it wrong as the web site says a 3 year replacement warranty.

My mistake. It didn't really seem likely to carry the Motomaster name and not have some warranty.
Picked one up. Got some 40 brass ready to clean so will let her run over night with the brass and some corn cob as media. See how they look in the morning. Been reloading for over three years now without a means to clean my brass properly and think it may be causing reliability issues with my pistols due to dirty brass not chambering as easily as they should. Hoping clean brass will help keep my pistols running like they should.
I bought the last one at my CT ( Abbotsford ) when the doors opened, works great with Lyman tumbler media.
Can't knock the warranty..
at the time of the original post the canadian tire website said "no warranty"
I do this all the time. 1.5 hours does a good job of taking off all the lube. If I want the brass shiny, about 4 hours.
I use Princess Auto walnut media. Quite fine stuff and does not block primer pockets or flash holes.

IIRC, Brasso contains ammonia. Not good for brass if that's the case, as it will weaken it.
Any of the "official" companies' polishes don't contain ammonia and all work great (Dillon, Frankford Arsenal, RCBS, etc...)
Or, go buy some NuFinish car was (orange bottle) at CT and add it to the media.
Went to Ch'town yesterday and raided PetSmart. Brought home "All Living Things" Ground Walnut Shell Bedding (reptile bedding) to try out in the tumbler. Worked great! They are granular and they stayed granular after tumbling. Put a dab of Nu Finish in with it and mixed it up for about ten minutes and then threw the brass in and let tumble for 3 hours. Came real nice. Not as nice as the Frankfort but will definitely work for cleaning up the lube. Next time I'll try it for a hour and a half. I just wanted to see how shiny they would get. It was 18 bucks for around 12 pounds.

Also tried "Kaytee" KayKob litter. it's made out of corn cob so I thought it would be good for polishing the cases up. It did a good job also but it was kind of big and was getting stuck in the 223 case necks. A small tap and it cleaned out. If I had a media separator that might been enough to clean out the necks?? I had no problems with the 30 cal cases and the hand gun cases. The media fell right out. Even cleaned up that steel case in the forground. No shine though.

Hey islandkent What's is the best go to media that you found ??? There is nothing around here.
See that's what I've been saying. When you don't live in a heavily populated area your choices are always limited. Ordering off the web or from a catalog is sometimes your only choice.
Ok Miramichier, I've been friggin with this since I bought that thing. The best right now that I have found is that "All Living Things" that's the brand name. And it's the ground walnut shell bedding. It does a nice job polishing them up. I left them in for 3-4 hours. The walnut lasted for 3000 cases so far and is not breaking down yet.
If you can't find that(I couldn't find it in Summerside, found it in Ch'town) You could try this other cat litter that is "Walnut Based" They say that it's not as good as the real walnut shells but it did work but was breaking down and was dusty. That brand is "Blue Buffalo Co." and I found it everywhere In Summerside. In a blue bag. You should be able to find that in Newcastle. I would think.
Don't forget the Nu Finish and the dryer sheet for the dust and dirt.
They say that sand blasting walnut media is nice but I never found any yet. I have around 25 lbs of this kind of stuff so I have lots for now.
Held and did a nice job with 120 223cases and about 80 308 cases.
