Didn't get much movement in the last week of so, I have been chatting with as many people as I could at the range and also send emails to brass processing companies. They all have roll sizing machines already and don't need this one.
So make sure you bring it up with the people you shoot with! Just need to say :
Hey have you heard of roll sizing machines? There is a deal going on on CGN now, direct them to here and if they do not have an account you can send them to my email. Simple.
This will probably never happen again. Roll sizing isn't as popular because of the lack of knowledge revolving around reloading! But they are highly recommended to create ammo to spec!
Here is some food for thought:
Did you know that your regular sizing dies are all undersized?
Did you know that the hourglass shape in brass isn't actually a 'feature' as it has been sold to the industry throughout the last few decades.
Don't believe me? Talk to the people at Mighty Armory (producers of high quality dies for auto loading machines)
In a nutshell, reloading with undersized brass is easier: reduces the headaches and makes reloading simpler allowing for more human error i.e. allows for more tolerance difference.
What most people don't really understand is the trade offs... because, simply put, we never needed to but like everything in life, hindsight is 20/20.
If you are not sure or believe Dillon's motto : we undersize because it adds neck tension and it is better, then, guess what... you have some chatting to do with the big minds at Mighty Armory to understand more about reloading.
For those who are reading this for the first time and are starting at the last thread. THIS GROUP BUY IS STILL ON!
We need 5 more people!
