The bcg at least, and the transfer notification from o'dell's puts SFRC's rifles arriving at ~Dec 22. O'dell's messed up and put their invoice/ transfer notification for 8 rifles in with mine (first rifle on transfer from o'dell's to sfrc). So they are fresh from factory with contract Date of 2015-10, packed 2015-12. At least that is what the BCG bag says. I'd assume final assembly happened before then? The anodizing Is completely different for iur vs lower. A black Vs colt grey. They weren't originally made for each other I'd be willing to bet. Still tight as virgin, needed punches and brass mallet to take it down.

The IURs are all still the same batch of military surplus released well over or around a year ago now. So made well before the 2015 lowers. Not a match set, but still an authentic "all CC" rifle. I wouldn't be worried about it.

I'm still trying to source a CC F/A BCG and charging handle for my enhanced lower and IUR. Will be happy with that, still all CC.

Oh I forgot to take pic of the lowers keyhole roll mark. It's right by the trigger guard roll pin. I'll post it tonight.

Are you sure it's a roll mark and not a relief mark added during the moulding process?

Yep it's a keyhole roll mark

Ok. Thought it was different. That mark was made prior to Colt Canada receiving the unfinished lowers from Cerro Forge. Pretty standard on any cerro forge lower now.

If the mark is raised it's technically not a roll mark. A roll mark is added to the part by impressing the marks similar to a stamp but the marks are on a wheel type stamp and rolled into place under pressure.

Hey by the way, the new Colt Canada FA BCGs are coming with bolts marked "MPCC" instead of "MPD" along with the lot/batch number. Will snap a photo if I ever pull mine out of the wrap.
