I'm jealous. After my father finished his WWII tour, he wanted something to bring home. He found a Mk II Ross in a London, UK pawn shop and bought it. It sat above our basement bar for as long as I can remember. I used to play wth it, trying to open the bold, and scraping my thumb on it many times. Then one day, some 40 years ago now, I came home from school and in the place of the Ross was a Lee Enfield No1!!! WTF!!! My father traded it.
Last year I called the guy who traded the rifle, but he sold it 20 years ago.
I have actually tracked it down, by going to the Ross net group and asking if anyone had bought a Ross from this well known gun trader. Yep, sure enough, someone in Oklahoma!! But he wont sell it back to me. That sucks. I'd really like to get it back...
