2 on the table, 2 new orders !

I can tell you guys there is alot of thought and craftmanship that goes into these.

I was lucky enough to be able to get one made in a custom left-handed model...the one you see in the pictures above.

Coho offers a great product and if you had any reservations about dealing with him or the product I am here to tell you there is no need.

Top quality product from a top quality guy....nuff said!

I think a trader rating exchange is in order..

Well, I am getting a lot more orders than initially expected. Looks like I will have to put a website up quick to help show my work, the color choices, stamping options and designs.

Both good news and BUSY-NESS !

Beautiful product, Coho! I want one...this is the product that I was envisioning while I was still unpacking my Ranch Hand the first time.

A question: In some photos, for example the one in post #37, the muzzle appears to project somewhat from the bottom of the holster. In other shots, the leather seems to completely cover the muzzle. Which is correct? Are you making these in different lengths?

I make them all by hand from a plain bare side of leather and with my tools/tooling. They can be made longer on special request at small additional costs to cover the extra material & time. Just finished a +1.5" one today with a stitched closed end for a Ranch & custom Butcher. pics up in a few days (hunting season....)

I have LOTS of pictures to upload from recent orders, here's one of the latest finished holsters waiting for pickup. (Excuse the iPhone quality pics)

I did a couple higher end ones (more time on the finishing and details) I will post them as soon as I have time to convert the file format for the web..**Teaser... they are both BLACK and look amazing.....**

Those of you that have had a chance to try out your 'Mare's Boots', I would like the feedback of how you find them wearable, useable, look, finish etc. only way I can let others know what they are like and make little changes to improve if I can.

** and yes... I am working on a pattern for a scabbard that will go on a pack/belt/shoulder sling/saddle. (but they will be a lot more expensive with the hours to make and materials)

Cohos holsters are a well made work of art. Rifle slides out slicker than greased goose chit. Thanks for the great product

Here's one of the higher finished holsters made recently, full hand carving to the owners & my discussion, metal conchos, higher grade leather (few blemishes), edges worked much longer.

More of a 'show' holster than working one. I offered to add alot more details to the holster but the buyer wanted it 'slick' simple. Pictures don't do it justice.

Thanks Coho!

The leatherwork is excellent quality!

It came today and I tried it on....

A couple impressions:

- This is a quality product; no doubt.
- Coho was very resopnsive and PM'ed me a few times on asking exactly what I wanted.
- Fits the gun perfectly.
- The leather smells damn good :)

Functionally, I was impressed. I am not going to pack this to defend against bears for a living; but if I go camping / hiking I will take it.

With a normal belt the gun is heavy (this is the gun not the holster). I used an Uncle Mike's duty belt and it's 100% wearable long term.

Here are pics.
