to take the bolt out , you have to get a real long shanked slotted type screwdriver(i'm talking about 2 feet long) and take the buttstock out-take off the buttcap,( there should be 2 screws- phillps head- then go down the hole with the long screwdriver and unscrew it- the buttstock then pulls off to the rear- to do the headspace thing, there are 3 guages that look like dummy shells- the last ones i saw looked like chromed dummies( i think brownells has them ) but make sure you get 7.62 and not 308 winchester or both- a go guage, a no-go guage, and a field- you'll only use these the odd time, unless you're a smith, so i'd take to a smith that has these and pay the fee to get it cked- should be a nominal fee- it's like a 2 minute job- drop it in, close the bolt- as far as the screwdriver, goes, you should be able find one in a tool store or get a blacksmith to make one for you- get a piece of half inch or better welding rod and get someone to heat it and hammer it flat into a slotted type screwdriver on one end- you don't have to really torque on it- any blacksmith with a forge should be able to do it- just heat the end cherry red or better and then hit it with a hammer an equal number of strokes on both sides, and into a water or oil quench- you may want to put an oversized handle on it too- yyou'll find you use that screwdriver a lot when you really want to clean it- oh yea, and if you have the rotary magazine, do NOT dissassemble the magazine
