People spend way more than that to shoot 5 rounds out of a Valmet M78 haha. Limited or not, I want one.

there is this option
uses a SAW bag and RPD specific adapter,
but can only fit 75 rounds in it, due to 7.62x39 being bulkier than 5.56x45
but due to the uncertainty of the belt capacity in our case, would work either way
I'm sure when and IF, we get these bad boys, someone will produce something,

That SAW bag conversion is pointless. The RPD already has a drum shaped can that holds 2 x 50rd belts.

Who came up with idea that belt must be made before some year? The regs explicitly don't say that. The belt must originally designed only for the type of gun that existed before that date. The regs don't even ask for the gun made before the date

There is no actual date .
Dealer says end of Feb but I wouldn't hold you breath .
No harm in getting in line though

And you don't think the RCMP will come to their senses and prohib any mag that will allow more then 5 rounds period no matter what other cal it can use??
