Thank's for the info. I didn't know.
Well that'd be me. But my point was investing in a non-approved firearm in hopes of getting an FRT for it on an individual basis privately (rather than waiting for dealers to bring in a lot). Risked with uncertain approval, but you get to be envied among the fellow gun nuts for your unobtaniumWho is building the M53?
They would still need an export permit to export the blueprints. Otherwise it would be a violation of ITAR.
I would proudly like to violate ITAR.
anything with a belt is gping to be PERCIEVED as a machine gun whether it is or not- then they'll do their damndest to MAKE IT SO
the only reason that the 1919 et al semis are available is because they've been proven to be semis only and the batf in the states has PROVEN they CANNOT BE CONVERTED- and the court challange has already been won- kind of like kicking a dead horse- and they don't want to take it all the way to the scoc
Given the ability of the FRT lab to simply say no, at any time, even after saying yes, combined with the large engineering task, and the fact that no factories build the RPD, that is a no, for now at least.
Sorry, I don't really understand. Are you implying something, or just making a comment?there is a difference between "yes these pictures look ok, here's your FRT#" and "yes after months of trying our best to make this F%(%$#NG thing go full auto, we can't so here's is your FRT"
