RPD Update.

I don't recall there being any talk of how long the work in Florida having a timeline. Just that they could be left in the US, or imported to Canada and put on hold. Either way they are on hold.

they were to go to be upgraded right away so they are ready to ship as soon as the frt being issued. given its been many months that should be done. He had said he was doing that of his own accord at the time remember. we paid in advance so all isdone and ready to ship thats why we committed. If they have not done the upgrades I am not sure I want to wait, cause that means that even after frt issued we will wait long and that was not the deal.
Fact we are not getting a reply to this simple question having put our good money down ages ago is not right in my books. Its a simple yes or no. He had said it was being done he said he went down there to see it and there were not a ton of guns to do. yes or no?!

I'm going to say that I find this experience extremely frustrating as if it isn't enough that we have to deal with the rcmp lab there lack of timeline , but that I expected. What I didn't expect was being stonewalled by AE :s I mean wen was it in march that the gun were going to Florida for a coupe of weeks... no update and all this for a 3 gran gun we fully paid for!

I am calling tomorrow, there might be a spot opening depending on there response....

PLease advise what the reply is, instead of us all calling today.txs

Reviews of Project Guns in the US are good when it comes to quality, but middle of the ground when it comes to fast turn around. Quality work takes time. If their work is worth the hype regarding quality, I'll wait for them to finish should it not yet be done.

Walt specifically said way back that the rifles would ship as soon as the frt gets issued. That would suggest the work was being done in anticipation of the frt: why all the doubt now???? There has been no change so why all the speculation? Everyone was told up front that there was no timeline on the frt and we as firearm owners already know how slow the rcmp moves on this. The wait will be long.... That was made clear up front.

The original options were 3 fold...

1) Leave in US and wait for frt

2) Bring to canada and wait for frt

3) Bring to canada and ship to buyer without frt as the gun meets the legal definition of a non restricted firearm, frt or not.

Option 3 was decided against so only 1 and 2 remained. Buyers had the choice to select either. After that, the announcement was made that while the frt was pending, the guns would be tuned at Project Guns as a bonus.

If anyone wants to back out, I'm sure Armseast will give you your money back. And sell your gun to the next in line.

I maybe getting antsy about waiting, but it's only because I feel like a kid waiting for Santa. This is a unique opportunity, hard to walk away from.

You know just where to kick me too.... that gun, if I was given the chance to buy just one prohib, would be the gun.

If TV-PressPass can get an email from he RCMP with an estimated FRT completion date, why cant we?

Background: He submitted a VZ58 pistol for FRT and just posted the email back from the RCMP telling him an ETA.

I wonder how accurate the VZ58 pistol FRT, ETA will be? Remember we're at the mercy of bureaucrats.

Wasn't there something about " the end of summer " as a guesstimation? Or was that for something else?

Thought it was late summer, but then when I originally got on this horse he was going to ship right away and fu@# the rcmp as these were clearly non restricted.
