i fully agree. would hate to miss out on this one. still abit sore i couldn't place my full order that i wanted to as well. i still have a belt fed in the gunroom though so it won't be a total loss.

I would imagine Walter is doing all he can on this front, kicking a stink up with these guys will be nothing but counterproductive. The squeaky wheel gets the grease is not going to happen. When something changes Walter will let everyone know. Its hard I know as I want to get my gun as well, but we all knew how long it takes to get something like this approved.

I found as a kid the more I yelled and screamed at the toy store, the less likely I was to get something I wanted. Usually I got something I didn't.

The drum isn't a magazine. Its a bucket that holds the belt. It has no spring or mechanism inside.
Belts of a design made prior to 1945 are not limited.

Walter, will we be able to order additional belts/drums in the future, providing the stars align in our favor?
How about nutsack/adaptor or other accessories. Personally I like the original configuration, but Gunnutz are also gearheads, we tend to buy stuff we really don't need, the want factor is overwhelming.
Here's a pic just because. Never seen a carry handle thingy on an RPD before, must be homemade. The handle position doesn't look practical considering where the guns weight center would be.
