Well guys, we've just taken a step closer. Just got word out of Lipseys that Ruger just sent them a SKU#. This means things are getting close and with a large order, he figures, Ruger will be motivated to get these going right away. Still hesitant to nail down a date(this is Ruger we are talking about, after all) but things should/might progress quickly now.
I looked on the Lipseys and the Ruger site but nothing up yet. Ruger's site is often months behind but Lipseys might have something up quickly.
Do you know how many of these rifles Ruger is producing?

No, because they will catologue it for a while, meaning there is no limit, however, I would guess it will only be a couple or few hundred.

Not everybody's first choice but seems to be fairly popular. I sure like the 35 Wh in the 1-A
A little more info out of Ruger. They have confirmed it is a .311 bore with a 1 in 10 twist
should do well with both the 150gr TSX and 215gr Woodleigh, my two hunting bullets of interest
