Ruger 10/22 110 Round Drum

Bought the gsg drum, works flawlessly in my 10/22 .. no jams either. Happy with the investment. =)

I've got a gsg and it works great , it does jam once in a while ( fairly rare ) and I think this more of a bad round failing to feed due to cheap ammo more than anything .

Got mine for $93 at crappy tire. The GSG does not work with the speed loader in a useful manner. Tons of fun but borderline irritating to load.

..... yes and no..... hence the whole BX25 magazine clusterf**k.

Sorry, what? Can semi auto 22's have a 100 round drum or not? lol

I'm looking into getting a jw-14 myself, but this may be the push I need for me to for out 290 bucks for the 10 22 ruger!

jTin is correct, I even called the RCMP about this one. There are no restrictions as to the amount capacity a long gun rimfire mag can hold - sky's the limits..

The BC bulk loaders won't work with the drums as you have to manually rotate the drum spindle to be ready to load the next round. My GSG works fine, with the exception of a FTF depending on the quality of ammo I'm using.

there are no restrictions on capacity for magazines which are designed, tested, and marketed for long rifles only. if any of that stuff was done in a pistol at all than its a prohibited device. hence the ruger BX25 mags were tested for use with the charger pistol thus they were prohibited. however, all other 25 round magazines including the drums are not currently prohibited.

get used to this stuff. at any time anything can be made prohibited. nothing is ever 'legal'. the best you can ever hope for is 'not currently illegal'. welcome to canadian gun laws.

Just got my GSG 110 yesterday (July 2015)
Took it to the range and fired 220 rounds without a single FTF!

When I got the unit and started to load it, I knew then that it would function perfectly even though every youtube vid I saw demonstrating a number of different drums had problems.
I suspected the mag would be problem free due to it's excellent build quality and superior design.
While the drum is plastic the vertical feed channel and lips are steel. Also, every round has it's own isolated cradle that allows it to float freely without contact from adjoining rounds. Thus there is no pressure. contact or interference placed on the individual rounds. This results in a continual unobstructed flow of ammo up to the point of the vertical feed tower-- the part that locks into the gun. So only the last 10 or so rounds have pressure on them-- great design.

Don't know if this makes a difference but, the manufacturer stresses this product is made for the Canadian market and specifically designed for the Ruger 10/22.
Not sure if I was just lucky, but it's great buying a product that just flat out works directly out of the box.

$99.99 = $124. with HST and shipping, received in 4 days from here: http://www.kellysonline.ca/collections/magazines/products/110-round-drum-mag-for-ruger-10-22-sr22
