Just got my GSG 110 yesterday (July 2015)
Took it to the range and fired 220 rounds without a single FTF!
When I got the unit and started to load it, I knew then that it would function perfectly even though every youtube vid I saw demonstrating a number of different drums had problems.
I suspected the mag would be problem free due to it's excellent build quality and superior design.
While the drum is plastic the vertical feed channel and lips are steel. Also, every round has it's own isolated cradle that allows it to float freely without contact from adjoining rounds. Thus there is no pressure. contact or interference placed on the individual rounds. This results in a continual unobstructed flow of ammo up to the point of the vertical feed tower-- the part that locks into the gun. So only the last 10 or so rounds have pressure on them-- great design.
Don't know if this makes a difference but, the manufacturer stresses this product is made for the Canadian market and specifically designed for the Ruger 10/22.
Not sure if I was just lucky, but it's great buying a product that just flat out works directly out of the box.
