9mm=Glock 17. a great gun, I can't shoot mine worth beans but a great gun all the same. Buy one of these for 9mm shooting then get a .45, learn to reload or don't shoot it as often would be my advice.
I compromised and got an M&P22 pistol in the last couple of weeks. For the same price as a box of 50 9mm, I can buy 200 rounds of the 22cal. It has proven reliable and very fun to shoot.
If I shoot every 2-3 weeks like I seem to, then the $20-$30 ammo bill per visit will be appreciated more than the $75-$90 I'd spend if I only kept shooting the Shadow I started with.
I'm also finding a benefit to warming up with the 22, putting my best shots in with the Shadow, and finishing again with the 22.
Cost effective, and fun.
