ruger 44 carbine ammo

I bought one in the the 70s. It loved Hornady 265Gr softpoints. Killed deer very well! I put an early aimpoint on it in the 80s. It would do 1 inch groups at 100M!

I tried some 240gr winchester SP whitebox ammo on the weekend and the rifle apparently does not like them I am gonna try some 240gr remington SP this weekend hopefully the accuracy is better than a 8 inch group at 50 yards

i don't reload but factory hornady leverevelution 44mag with the orange ballistic tips are great in my book.

I have an M77 in blued walnut, that I haven't had the chance of seeing how big a pie plate that she shoots, yet! Gosh, she looks so sweet, I hope she's worth keeping!
