Look for the Volquartsen sear for the 77/22. It works in the 77/22 in all calibers and the 77/44 and 77/357.Does anyone know where i can find an aftermarket trigger group or sear and spring kit for this gun. Has anyone replaced theirs? Happy with the results? Thanks in advance.
I tried a Volquartsen sear in my 77/17, and the trigger pull improved, but a good rap on the bolt would release the firing pin. I installed a Rifle Basix trigger, and the trigger improved immensely, fully adjustable, and no creep, and it will not slam fire.
Was that with the Volquartsen spring? I've tried to set mine off with a rap on the bolt and it held firm.I tried a Volquartsen sear in my 77/17, and the trigger pull improved, but a good rap on the bolt would release the firing pin.
