I've loaded for 2 of these. The no mus no fus load I use is a BDX 240 JSP and WW 296. You want something clean burning. I settled on 21.7 gr. I think that is a Sierra accuracy load.

Personally I didn't see the need to go to max loads, even at 21.7 it barks a bit.
Interesting rifle, they do seem to keep going up in value. My cousin paid $350 for his, and several years later my nephew paid $600 for a pretty nice one. When they approach the price of a 77/44 or a '92 I draw the line. Now a nice Ruger 96, well, for that I'd pay up.
