Ruger American Ranch rifle, mag conversion ..........sticky pls

So I have a Ruger American Ranch in 223. It came with the AR style pinned mag. Would like to convert it to a Ruger Flush mag. Contacted Gravel with the serial number and what I would like and they seem to have no idea. Has an anyone done this conversion and if so do you have a part number or something for the max well I need?
Thanks

Refer to post #28 in this thread.

I have an AR Ranch that I run .223 rotarys in no problem. Love the flush fit!
All you need is the stock module from any flush fit/rotary predator or compact stock and your magazine and your golden.
Tell Gravel you have a newer compact in .308win.

The rotary mags could care less if your bolt is milled for the STANAG mags or not as the bottom bolt lug catches the rim of the cartridge to push it in the chamber.

Ok thanks for the info. I will try them again. Just thinking I also just purchased an American Preditor in 308. Is the mag well in it what I would need?

I’m kind of confused here. I have a 308 ranch. But my serial number has the dash in it. My bolt is not scalloped. But my rifle does have the removable mag piece in it. I currently run a 450 bushmaster mag. It only holds 3 rounds and doesn’t fit flush. But I find it to be far more reliable and much tougher than the flimsy rotary mag. But I would love to go AICS if possible

AICS module should allow you to run AI mags in your .308 no problem.
“Scalloping” or milling of the bolt is only providing the needed clearance for the models that run STANAG magazines.
