I also cannot get this thing back together...is there a trick to it?

Thanks

good luck buddy, that spring is a son of a ##### to work with, when i installed my hogue grip removed that pin, the hammer spring and the internal lock thinknig the hogue assembly would fit. it didnt. had a hard ####ing time putting everything back together, in the end a trimmed a hair in the frame and it did fit

I know...i have tried and no go. i need to find someone here is saskatoon that can help me out. do any of you know if i can get the rolled pin here is Canada???

That is the sping pin that lines up the grips to the grip frame. Should be able to find one at a good hardware store & cut to length if you need to!

The width of the frame & the depth of the 2 alignment holes in the grips = the pin length....should be about 3/4".
