Ruger Blackhawk convertibles

Look at the barrel wall thickness. On a .38 or .45 the walls are a LOT thinner than a .22. So a lot of the muzzle heavy feel goes away quickly as the bore size gets bigger.

For esthetics I really like the 7.5's. For easier holster drawing and poking around barriers or through openings I like the short barrels. So I tend to compromise at the 5.5's

I bought the 5.5" 45colt/45ACP model 3 weeks ago and the verdict is........

AWESOME!

Both calibers are tack drivers and seem to have the same POI. I am really happy with this gun :D Only complaint it the crappy plastic grip, which I will replace soon with wood.

i'm happy with my 38/357/9mm although it needs a trigger job so i don't have to get better at shooting :)

i wanted the 45lc/45acp one but it's just a fill in until i have enough to buy a 625.

I bought my 6 1/2" Convertible .38/.357/9mm so I could shoot any of those. So far I have only used the .357 cylinder and totally love it with .38's or .357. I just went with the Convertible for the extra cartridge option.

Maybe some day I get a big pile of 9mm for cheap and just want to bang off a bunch!
