I picked up a new charger and out of the box, run a torture test of 400 rounds in about 30 min (50 round drum mags rock, btw).
I mounted this red dot on it: http://www.reddotpaintball.com/tactical-edge-red-dot-green-dot and it zero'd well.
At home the next day, I did a quick cleaning and noticed my scope mount rail (http://www.cheaperthandirt.com/21052-34.html) was coming loose.
I tightened the screws up pretty well and remounted the scope.
I wasn't impressed, but really not that surprised. Maybe the rail wasn't on too tight from the factory, maybe the weight of the red dot (a whopping 13 oz) was so heavy, combined with high volume shooting caused them to loosen up. I'm going to try to mount an ultradot (at a mere 4oz) and do it again. (http://www.rimfiresports.com/mercha...e=RSC&Product_Code=AALULDT25&Category_Code=RD)
I have to say the receiver on the charger sure looks cheap - but I'm not that bummed out for $400.
Overall - I still think it was worth it (worth it enough to pick up an archangel kit)
Thoughts?
