I am interested in acquiring a Ruger Charger which is classified as a restricted firearm (HYBRID: technically a long pistol but short to be a rifle). Basically of a 10/22 platform, with a short bull-barrel, I was thinking of modifying the stock to accommodate either a removable skeletonized stock, a side folding stock or a retractable stock. Will there be an issue regarding the classification and ownership of this firearm if any of these options is pursued?

Once restricted...always restricted, as receiver is marked "Charger".

looks like a troy chassis with a folding stock adapter and a really short barrel with a flash hider? Plus an aftermarket shortened hand guard and a bushnell T-dot. Looks like a storm trooper blaster! awesome :)
