Well, sometimes a little stroll back into history is ok.Lol yes i see that now
If I'm not mistaken, that is the tube fed version from the 60-70s and not the Mini-14/M1 Carbine style 99/44yet there is one languishing in the ee now thats been posted for a while

I had one years ago I think it was called deerstalker. Wish I had kept it , think I paid around 500 for it and sold it for 650 probably 12 years ago. Fun little rifle planking was relatively cheap at a time with 44 pistol ammoThis rifle is on my "bucket list" for sure, but I'm after the tube-mag version. I don't know enough about them to know what version came first/last, but I did see the one in question on the EE. I sort of understood that $900-$1,000 for a minty one was expected, but I've BEEN that "guy" who overpaid for things I just had to have so I know there must be other guys like me out there! I'm not there yet on the desire to own a Ruger 44, and may never be. My ceiling is probably around $700.
Hey hoytcannon~you don't happen to have an H&R single shot in 44 mag do you?![]()
