You & me both. Personally if I didn't already have one I'd much rather have a S&W 617.im not getting the above collage.

If you are have ever owned a smith and wesson revolver and shot it lots and you buy a ruger revolver you will not be use to the cylinder release button.....it got so annoying for me I had to sell my gp100 in .38....I swore I'd never buy anything but a smith and wesson.....buy a sw 617 u will never look back....even at a grand it's best buy for your money hands down with higher re sale value
i'll take ruger single six or single ten. only complaint is you have to eject each case seperately.
