Seems that the Hawkeye Scout has been removed from Ruger’s website. They have a Lipseys dealer special American Scout only. Its interesting as there seems to be more shorter barreled, suppressor oriented carbines from most manufacturers, so it’s not like a GSR style rifle seems out of place. Maybe just too expensive for many?
The normal Hawkeyes are MSRP right on C$2000.
Interesting to watch the evolution of sporting rifles. The ‘middle ground’ seems to be smaller now, with most trending to more affordable options, and the upper tier rifles coming from fewer manufacturers? Has the growth in custom actions, prefit barrels, stocks etc. catalyzed this?
