What I got, when submitted the form on the Ruger site:
Thank you for signing your pistol up for the Mark IV™ recall. Here is what you can expect.
Due to the controls on the export and import of firearms and related parts and components, the retrofit of your pistol will be handled by an authorized repair center in your country. There will be a delay before parts are available.
Once parts are available in your country, we will provide you with the repair center's contact information. You should reach out to the repair center and arrange to have your pistol retrofitted pursuant to the repair center's schedule and requirements.
The repair center will provide detailed instructions regarding how to prepare and ship your grip frame assembly. Please note that any aftermarket parts may not be returned. Therefore, you should remove any custom or aftermarket parts you may have installed on your grip frame. Additionally, you should remove your grip panels before shipping your grip frame assembly to the repair center, pursuant to the shipping instructions you receive from the repair center.
Once the repair center receives your recalled grip frame, they will ship you a new one with a free magazine as a thank-you for your patience and cooperation.
In the meantime, we strongly recommend that you do not use your Mark IV™ pistol until it has been retrofitted.
While we sincerely regret the need to issue this recall, our motto is, and has been for many years, "Arms Makers for Responsible Citizens®." We are firmly committed to safety and appreciate your patience while we arrange to have your firearm retrofitted
