when you say Ruger stock is it the Hogue or the plain Ruger ones?

I got my Alaskan mint but used with dies 2 boxes of ammo and brass for $800. I love that gun.
I haven't seen too many advertised for less than $1000 in stainless with the Hogue stock. I think Ruger made a pretty big mistake in dropping them from the line up, but they're famous for discontinuing production on popular models.
I think I paid around the same thing for mine, $750 iirc, with a box of factory ammo and a box of fired brass. Now that they are discontinued and regarded by most as the nicer option of the newer Guide rifle, I could see a mint rifle go between $800-$1000.
