I read somewere that the Ruger 22/45 is'nt as reliable as the Ruger Mark3 because of the different angle of the grip causes the magazine to feed the ammunition differently, therefore making the 22/45 not as reliable Mark 3. I was wondering if there is any truth to this?
I have been approved by my wife to get myself a new .22lr pistol for my christmas gift, and I have pretty much decided to get a Ruger pistol, just because I have heard that they are the most reliable .22lr on the market. I also prefer the looks of the 22/45 over the Mark 3, but if the 22/45 is'nt as reliable as the Mark 3, then I would pick the Mark 3 because I would like to have the most reliable one of the two.
However, if there is no truth to the 22/45 being less reliable than the Mark 3, then I will get myself a Ruger 22/45 Stainless.
So, I'm hopeful that there are some guys on CGN that own both models, and could give me some comments here.
