The .44mag carbines were tube fed or rotary mag, not going to happen with this design.

Why not? The gun has an interchangeable mag well, desert eagle has a 44 magnum magazine.

That's great that they said they would do it if they got enough demand...... I just doubt the demand will be there.

Never said they built it with desert eagle mags in the past, I said they have the ability to do it now with the interchangeable mag well the new rifle has

Low availability in canada for full power 10mm ammo that can be hunted with

Ruger 44 carbines sell quick on the EE, even beat up ones go for a high price quickly, there is demand

Desert eagle mags make sense because all the R and D is done. I don't know if it has been done.

Just a guy at work, no one special. I suspected he was confusing it with the restricted, but he was pretty confident there was an update today on the Non-Restricted version.

I will be getting my restricted one next week hopefully.

On their own page it says 18", yes they claim it is NR, but if the barrel is only 18" as they say, I don't think so
