We have them coming in this month along with the Ruger Precision in 22LR although we are sure how many we will receive right out of the gate. Ruger at this point has no future plans to build a 18.5+ barrel for the 9MM carbine rifle although we do depending on how many we sell.
Do you have a link?Looks like we made that much noise, Ruger has said they are now looking at a non restricted version for north of the border.
Either way, it works as IRG usually has good prices.

Looks like fun.
But the picatinny rail should be on the front portion, not the receiver.
I have a Ruger 10/22 takedown rifle. Love the gun.
But I could not get a red-dot to hold zero while mounted on the receiver.
The point of impact would change considerably, just depending on how you held the forend with your left hand.
I found an optics mount for the barrel portion (made byTapco) and now the rifle is perfect.
It holds zero 100%.
The rear sight/rail mount option is a no brainer for sure.... they should collaborate with Magpul for a backpacker option.....![]()
Talking about ugliness......Ruger has successfully beat Trudeau.
If you want a pcc, just go buy a cx-4 and live happily ever after.

We are currently looking at non-restrictive options for Canada for this model. We appreciate your comments and have passed them along.

I emailed Ruger and received a similar response.
If everyone on this board who is interested in this rifle contacts Ruger asking for a NR version it should increase our chances of it actually happening.
