Ruger PCC Upgrades?

i went a different path. I priced out all the upgrades i was thinking of doing. It was going to be pretty expensive,

So instead I left the ruger stock and bought a JR Carbine.
Sharing the mags was big factor.

So would you keep one over the other? I had the ruegr pcc (installed the MCARBO extractor, solved the stovepipe issues)

im keeping both.

The ruger in take down is an 10/10 backpack gun. Im going to get the magpul backpacker stock when it comes out in Canada. That is likely my only upgrade.

The JR is my ammo eating range beast. Only addition is a Vortex red dot.

Ive put about 250 rds through each of them with 0 issues. Both seem quite reliable so far and I'd buy them again.

I'm still looking for a decent (but cheap) take down case.

The one ruger sells on shopruger.com is about the best. It's worth the cash and is a quality bag. It's the same style as the bag that comes with the 10/22 takedown but is made of better materials and is just better quality all around. I don't regret laying out the money for that bag one bit and I don't think you would either.

too pricey last I checked.

These cases are now on sale for $63 and I just picked one up....hopefully gets here in a week or two

very good bag indeed.

Hi all, from what I read here...PMAGS are the way to go. But I don't like the idea of a pinned magazine. So tell me please: Do 10 rounds Pmags exist for the PC9?
Not a 10/17 or such....just plain 10 rounds. (And where can they be bought?)
I'm just trying not to go around with a longer magazine that's partially empty.

Yes they exist and many retailers in Canada sell them for less than $30 bucks a piece. If you google it, you will be able to find the best price and retailer you want to deal with.

ets sells a 10-round glock g26 mag as well. i ran them in my ruger no problem. note that a 10-round mag tends to be tighter than a pinned mag and tougher to load on a closed bolt as a result. if you race them it is a consideration.

Being cheap I was thinking of 3D printing some mag extensions for Glock mags so easier to load and manipulate. Has anyone down this?

Also curious about magnified optics to go further than 100m. Seeing if anyone runs these.
