I had trouble with steel Accurate Mags in my RPR, But then I figured out the lips were not bent correctly. They were more narrow at the front of the mag than at the back and that caused rounds to wedge in there so I couldn't feed.
Once I figured that out, fixing the problem was easy.
I just jammed a flat screwdriver between two paint stir sticks between the lips near the front and gave it a twist. It took a couple tries and I was careful not to over do it, but it did correct the issue and now it feeds fine.
Other than that I have had no problems with any AI pattern mags in the 308 RPR. That includes the MDT plastic mags, steel Accurate Mags and real steel AI mags.
Although now that I think about it, I can recall that during competition the mag fell out on me a couple times... Not sure why, but I'm confident that it was seated and then somehow let go. I may have inadvertently bumped the release.. not sure, but you might want to watch for that.
